Go Girl

Long dominated by men, motorcycling is seeing a large influx of female riders over the past 10 years. I personally LOVE to see new women riders. My favorite riding partner has always been my wife.

Summer Hopkins started riding dirt bikes 2 years ago and now rides most weekends at Draper Lake with her dad, Brian. It is fun to watch her blonde hair wave behind her helmet, dirt flying from the rear tire of her Suzuki. The kids at her school think it is pretty cool that she rides, and I am sure the boys are especially happy - except when she passes them in a corner!
