Turkey Weekend

Thanksgiving is here and most of us have the day off. We should be giving thanks to our fellow Americans who are busy working to protect our way of life - the firemen, soldiers, police officers, and others who work today so that we can be with our families. At a recent event I met some members from the Heartland Heat motorcycle club. They are a group of OKC metro area fireman who ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. I sat down and talked to them and found out all the cool charity things they do and hope to bring a story to the magazine soon.



This weekend looks like great weather. Not many organized motorcycle events going on, but the Texhoma Trials Club is having a playday on Saturday at the Rock Creek Riding Area near Tishomingo. That is always a fun group to visit. They will always find a motorcycle and let you have take it for a spin in the rocks. Be sure and visit them.

Along that same note, the Northeast Oklahoma Trials Club (NEOTT) has decided to move their forum over to the Ride Oklahoma forum. We want to welcome them to the site, so stop in and say hi.
