Cardboard Cops
Just when I thought things couldn't possibly get any more ridiculous than they are ... I sure hope the locals take care of this moronic idea with their Sharpie pens.
From this article in the Vancouver Sun:
A life-size replica of a Vancouver traffic cop pointing a radar gun at oncoming traffic was unveiled Thursday on city streets.
The police force has up to eight replica cops that initially will be deployed on Knight Street to try to reduce speeding and traffic fatalities.

What a crock. They need to spend more time catching bad guys and not chasing traffic violations. I guess cardboard cops are better than the real thing giving tickets.
